Gross domestic product (GDP)
 
For the 2008 GDP reached 6130.3 billion tugriks at current prices and 3620.5 billion tugriks at 2005 constant prices. It shows an increase by 33.3 percent at current prices and 8.9% at 2005 constant prices compared with the previous year. This increase achieved mainly by growth of livestock, which reached 43.3 mln.heads, that compared with 2007 increased by 3.0 mln.heads or 7.5% and also production of crops increased by 21.0%, manufacturing by 4.7%, and services by 15.9% respectively. /source Monthly Bulletin of Statistics, December 2008/.
